Our Company
Williams Well Service of Delhi, LA was founded in 1948 by R.C. Williams and Matt Mathews with a Paraffin Cutting Machine mounted on a pick-up truck. They soon added a Pulling Unit installed on a World War II Army Surplus truck.
The company continued to grow and provide additional oilfield services through the 1950s and 60s. When R.C. Williams retired in 1970 the operational supervision of the company was assumed by his three sons Roddy, Arby, and Toby.
E.A. Hinton Well Servicing Inc. in Lisbon, LA was acquired in 1973. The company currently has offices in Lisbon and Delhi providing Workover, Swabbing, Hotoil, Roustabout, and Vacuum Truck services throughout north Louisiana, south Arkansas, and Mississippi.
Our Team
Toby Williams, President
Toby became President of Williams-Hinton Well Service in March 2015. He brings several years of oilfield experience to the company. In addition to his work in well servicing, he has a wealth of experience as a Toolpusher and Drilling Superintendent.

Jamie Williams, Vice-President of Operations
Jamie Williams began his career at Williams Well Service in 1996 and has filled virtually every position in the company from truck driver to Workover Hand to Hot Oil Operator. He currently supervises operations out of the Lisbon facility.

Junior Downen, Field Office Manager, Lisbon Facility
Junior has been with E.A. Hinton Well Servicing since 1993 as a truck driver, Workover Hand, Swab Hand, mechanic, and Office Manager. He coordinates all operations out of the Lisbon Field Office.

Willie Hadley, Field Office Manager, Delhi Facility
Willie has been with Williams Well Service since 1981. Prior to becoming Office Manager he supervised roustabout crews and filled a variety of duties including Hot Oil Operator.

James Laird, Sales and Service Representative
In addition to 15 years of experience with E.A. Hinton as a Workover and Swabbing Operator, James spent another 20 years on drilling rigs and Fishing Tool Hand for Weatherford International and Red Dog.

Jim Smith, Safety Supervisor
Jim came to work at E.A. Hinton in 2013. Since that time Hinton and Williams Well Service have made major improvements in their safety programs and began routine Drug Testing through DISA. Jim’s previous oilfield experience includes Mud Logging and several years as a Mud Engineer with IMCO Services, Magcobar, and Baroid. He also has a Petroleum Engineering degree from Louisiana Tech University and is a TEEX Certified Hydrogen Sulfide Instructor.
